Vaccinations

We strongly recommend that all dogs, cats and rabbits are vaccinated annually to protect them from the main infectious viral diseases.
Dogs

Course of 2 injections 4 weeks apart

1st vaccination – at least 6 weeks old

2nd vaccination – at least 12 weeks old

This is followed by an annual booster

Puppies will not have full immunity or be safe to go out for a walk in public places until at least one week after the second vaccination

We would also advise dogs to be vaccinated against kennel cough

1 vaccination – approximately 3 weeks before going into kennels

This is followed by an annual booster
