Pet Veterinary Services

Here for your pet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The small animal department comprises of a large team of veterinary surgeons, qualified nursing staff, experienced animal care assistants and a dedicated reception team.

At the Keighley practice, we have 4 consultation rooms where your pet can be examined or treated if necessary. We also have a modern, superbly equipped surgery and hospital with inpatient facilities.

The department not only provides routine health care appointments but also more complex surgical procedures.

All our vets and nurses regularly attend training courses and take part in further education to improve the services we offer.

What we do
Routine Pet Services

We strongly recommend that all dogs, cats and rabbits which go into a public area or mix with other animals be vaccinated annually to protect them from the major infectious viral diseases.

There are a range of specialised products and diets designed to provide appropriate nutrition for pets during the various stages of their life-cycle.

We offer various products for treating parasites that come in the form of injections, tablets and spot on.

We can recommend a range of products for worming your pet that come in the form of tablets and spot on.

‘Identichip’ is a tiny microchip with an identification code unique to you and your pet. There are various other criteria you must meet before taking your pet abroad.

We always try to examine your pet’s mouth as part of our routine health checks. We all know how uncomfortable tooth ache or sore gums can be and it is just the same for your pet.

For most owners the fact that your pet will not be responsible for a litter of potentially unwanted puppies or kittens is the main reason for neutering. The benefits also range from correcting behavioural issues to lowering the risk of fatal cancers.

At Aireworth Vets, we offer nursing clinics to obtain advice and provide routine treatments for your pet.
